What's New in the New Hosting Plans

As of January 1st, 2005, we're upgrading all of our hosting plans to include the following new features:

Bigger & Faster Servers

Every server is getting faster processors (up to 4.5x faster!) and more memory.

Lots More Storage

We're cranking up the disk space for every type of account.

IMAP mail support

IMAP mail lets you check your mail with multiple mail clients—you can have access to all of your mail from a desktop mail client (like Outlook or Apple Mail) and webmail.

Webmail Performance Improvements

We've made some additional adjustments that should really improve the speed and responsiveness of webmail.

Add and Remove Email Users

Control is upgraded to allow you to directly add and remove email accounts.

Email Anti-Virus

All incoming mails are scanned for viruses (virii!) and safely discarded before an infected mail can get in your Inbox.

Content Compression

All text-based content (HTML, RSS feeds, XML) is automatically compressed before it's served. Faster loading times for all sites, smaller bandwidth usage.
