2006? Already? How’d that sneak up on us?
With the start of the new year, I’d just like to share with you what we’re planning on to make hosting your site even better this year.
First, I’d just like to say thanks for being an Ideanode customer. I know there are a lot web hosting companies out there, and we’re happy that you chose ours.
Second, I think Ideanode is doing a pretty good job, but I can be a lot better, and here’s where I think needs improvement:
- Improve the Billing System. We’d like to give you more flexible options for paying for your account. This will be the last billing cycle where we bill you every six months, in the future you’ll have an opportunity to subscribe and have a recurring charge each month, or pay for longer periods if you prefer.
- More Conversation! Ideanode customers are a talented bunch: we’ve got wickedly talented photographers, designers, musicians, and programmers. We’re going to make some steps to ‘open up the livingroom’ so we can trade tips, chat, and help each other out (all voluntary, of course, you can remain a hermit if you’d prefer).
- Make it Easier to do Cool Stuff on your site. A lot of Ideanode customers use things like the blogs, image galleries and shopping carts. We’re going to make it easier for people to self-install these things, so you can quickly snap in powerful software to make your site better (of course, if you want it now, just email us and we’ll install it for you).
Did I miss something? Don’t hesitate to drop me a line with what you think we should (I know, you should be able to comment right here on this post, yeah? We’ll get that fixed too.)
