Setup Mac Entourage with IMAP

This article will walk you through setting up Mac Entourage with IMAP.

First, you’ll want to open up Entourage, then select Entourage | Account Settings, like so:

We’re setting up a new account, so choose “New”. The little badge button in the top, left hand corner.

A little window will appear, providing you with a drop down menu of server types. Make sure to choose “IMAP” as the server type.

On the Edit Account setting window, enter the following information (replacing “example.com” with your domain name, etc.)

Now we need to update our outgoing mail options. Click on “Advanced Sending Options”:

In the window that pops up, check the following boxes, and be certain to change the SMTP port to 587:

Click “Ok” and you’re finished!
